We knew it, you can keep a ragtag group of survivors down for long. In an exclusive interview with GamerZines Chet Faliszek has revealed that the original survivors are still alive in the Left 4 Dead universe.

Just stay calm."One of the cool things is that the original survivors aren't dead," Explained one of the lead creative minds behind Left 4 Dead 2.

Look out for hazard suit wearing infected in Left 4 Dead 2.When asked if there's any chance of us meeting any of the original cast in the near future Chet was reluctant to spill the beans, "Maybe they all meet up together in the end or maybe not." That said, it's great to know that they are still alive somewhere in North America, but they may not find salvation anywhere in the world. Chet had this to say when we asked him which location the Left 4 Dead crew would like to recreate next:
"One of the things that is great is that the infection a worldwide thing, so we'll give you that scoop. London would be really great with all the twisty streets, but Moscow is another place I've been which I thought would be really cool."
So may we see the next Left 4 Dead in any manner of international locations even including Russia! Well Valve have already visited both the north and south of the USA, so maybe it's time to go globe-trotting. Mr Faliszek seemed very excited when talking about new locations, so we wouldn't be surprised if its an avenue they are willing to explore further.
Just don't expect Sims 3: World Adventures or anything...
