Despite reports yesterday that the PC version of Dead Space 2 had been ejected into the cold vacuum of the void, it appears nothing is set in stone quite yet.
"Visceral Studios is dedicated to delivering an outstanding Dead Space sequel for the Xbox 360 and PS3," explained an EA spokesperson to Eurogamer yesterday, "A PC SKU is under consideration. Nothing additional at this time."
So there may be some hope for gamers yet, but it seems as though this title is still very much in the planning stages.

As the original Dead Space appeared on the PC it would be an odd if the sequel didn't turn up to the party.
