After a two year hiatus Championship Manager is back with lots of additions and tweaks to the established formula. Featuring a new 3D match engine as well CM Season Live which downloads results and player statistics from real life and imports them into your game.
The football sim has experienced a sharp decline in sales as Sega's Football Manager rose to dominate the market. But Eido's hope the extra development time will enable them to get the jump on the Collyer brothers with a superior product.
As well as other tweaks and updates to the established formula, CM2010 will also feature a new free kick editor and a brand new, polished look.
A demo will be available on August 14th which co-insides nicely with the opening weekend of the Premier League. The full retail version is scheduled for release on September 11th.
