In an exclusive interview, Battlefield: Bad Company 2's Executive Producer Patrick Bach has explained that his team are showering the PC version of Bad Company 2 with the love and attention it deserves.

When asked how the presence of Battlefield 3 has affected the development of the team's forthcoming title, Bach had this to say:

"Right now we have a lot of people working on the PC version of Bad Company 2 to make sure that it gets the right attention and the right love, and of course that moves people around from different bodies."

"In the background we're doing a lot of things that I can't talk about that are aiming towards creating the next big Battlefield product."

Gamers the world over cannot wait to finally get a glimpse of what DICE are working on in their secretive headquarters and rest assured it's probably huge.

Despite Bad Company 2's console origins it's absolutely clear that this isn't just a console port, instead everything is being optimised for the PC platform from the ground up including dedicated servers and a substantial competitive online portal.

We'll find out whether the next title from DICE scratches that unique Battlefield itch when the PC beta launches on January 28th.
