Over the weekend Black Bean Games detailed the latest WRC installment currently in production at Milestone for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The sequel to WRC 2010 will feature ninety stages set in fifteen different locales, all with their own different weather and terrain challenges.
As expected this year’s roster will include all of the official cars from the World Rally Championship, in addition to classic motors going all the way back to the 1960′s. A bit similar to DiRT 3 then, but with the official WRC license.
The sim/arcade title is currently being prepped for an October release and will include sixteen player online events, as well as a revamped career mode.
Last year’s WRC 2011, also developed by Milestone, took us by surprise with an enjoyable handling model and stages which emulated the best of what rally has to offer.
It’ll be very interesting to see how the Italian studio builds on what was an already accomplished racing title.
