Today Futuremark Games Studio, the developer behind Shattered Horizons, has announced that their next download-only title Unstoppable Gorg will be released on Steam this Thursday.
The Tower Defence game apes vintage fifties sci-fi with players required to fight off an impending alien invasion of Earth.
There’s also an aptly-themed trailer, linked here, which explains the game’s intriguing orbital gameplay and it looks pretty inventive, especially for an effort belonging to such an increasingly burdened genre.
Regardless players should expect plenty of B-movie references, cheap special effects, glorious cutscenes and some spot-on humour; not bad for only $9.99.
