Frozenbyte has announced that Trine 2 will be released in shops and on Steam tomorrow.
In addition to the vanilla edition, there’s also the collector’s package which includes a digital artbook and a soundtrack.
Focus Home Interactive is dealing with the bricks and mortar retail edition of Trine 2, but regardless of which copy you go for Steamworks support is included as standard, however Frozenbyte are looking to release a DRM-free version next year.
The first Trine bowled us over with its character swapping puzzle-orientated gameplay, fantastic visuals and astounding soundtrack. We suspect the second game will do exactly the same and we’ll have a review for you later this week.
Both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be made available in Europe before the end of the year.
