Polish developer CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available a little later than expected with the sequel arriving on Friday, May 20th.
"We’ve decided to move the launch date back a few weeks to afford us more time to polish the game," said Adam Badowski, project lead.
"Of course, we know that players would like to get the game as soon as possible, so we hope that they will forgive us! We strongly believe that the extra time spent polishing the title will be well worth the wait."
More information regarding the finer points of the game, including the collector’s edition, will made public this week during a press conference held by CD Projekt.
The staff of PCGZine sampled The Witcher 2 during gamescom earlier this year and were very impressed with what they saw.
We look forward to hearing more about Geralt’s second adventure later this week.
