Kalypso Media have announced a date for the release of The First Templar, a hack-and-slash RPG which is set during the era of the Crusades.
According to Big Download, North American gamers can expect the multi-format title to appear on store shelves on May 10th, with European fans getting the game days earlier on May 6th.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this third-person actioner for some time and even though many Haemimont Games fans will be looking to the developer’s other big franchise, Tropico, for future enjoyment, we have our fingers crossed this new direction for the studio will deliver the goods.
The First Templar will be released on PC and Xbox 360.
