We all love Left 4 Dead 2, that’s a given, but it seems not enough gamers are testing out the ‘Cold Stream’ beta map and Valve has decided to do something about it.
The game’s official blog has explained that if 20,000 gamers play through the entertaining ‘Cold Stream’ campaign before Sunday and subsequently earn the ‘Stream Crosser’ achievement, Valve will release a new campaign titled ‘Dead Air’ on July 22nd.
The refreshed map, which some will remember from the original Left 4 Dead, is part of the upcoming ‘Cold Stream’ DLC pack which is being prepped for launch in the coming weeks.
Incidentally prospective players can currently snap up Left 4 Dead 2 for 75% off the regular price via Steam, so there’s no excuse not to jump onto a server and do your part!
