Today Team Meat has confirmed that Super Meat Boy, an indie hit developed by just two designers and a composer, has sold over a million copies since launch.
The beloved release which has appeared on Xbox 360, PC and Mac is one of the big industry success stories and judging from how the news was announced the creators couldn’t be happier:
“Fun Fact: Super Meat Boy past the million sales mark last month! PLATINUM BABY,” revealed the team’s official twitter feed.
Super Meat Boy is commonly regarded as one of the best platformers around, even giving the almighty Mario a run for his money, and we have no doubt many gamers will eagerly anticipate the team’s next big project whenever it’s announced.
