Sega has announced that a fourth wave of classic Sega Mega Drive games is coming to Steam, including popular platform-shooter Gunstar Heroes and our favourite Sonic title, Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
The games, which Sega says should be available on the service "now" (although we can’t spot them yet), start from £1.99.
"We are pleased to make more classic titles available from SEGA’s rich gaming heritage, each with load/save functionality and full PC support." said James Schall, Digital Distribution Manager at SEGA Europe. "Our fans will be able to enjoy playing their favourite classics, with the added opportunity of experiencing games they missed first time around."
Here’s the full list of titles being added to the service:
- Alien Soldier
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Gunstar Heroes
- Landstalker
- Light Crusader
- Shining Force
- Shining Force II
- Shining In The Darkness
- Sonic The Hedgehog 2
- Sonic 3 & Knuckles
- Streets of Rage
- Streets of Rage 2
- Toejam & Earl
- Toejam & Earl: Panic on Funkotron
- Wonder Boy
And if you want to grab them all, they should be available to buy together in a pack.
