Capcom has confirmed that PC gamers will miss out on downloadable content for Resident Evil 5 on PC.
US SVP Christian Svensson confirmed that no plans currently exist to bring any DLC or a Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 to the PC version and the teams previously involved are working on new projects.
“No plans for ResidentEvil Gold Edition or DLC for PC”, said Svensson. “That team is working on other stuff now and looking forward not backward.”
The absent content includes both downloadable chapters ‘Lost in Nightmares’ and ‘Desperate Escape’ as well as additional Mercenaries characters and multiplayer features.
