Missed out on the Alpha? Weren’t at Gamescom? Don’t worry. UK shooter fans will be given the chance to play Battlefield 3 at LAN party insomnia43, taking place at the Telford International Centre this weekend.
Battlefield 3 will be at the show and available to play exclusively on Sunday 28th August, almost two months ahead of its official release. Unfortunately, however, there’s no indication as to which modes or maps will be available to play.
A day pass to the show costs £5, and will give visitors access to the show floor and let them be a spectator of the ongoing tournaments.
“This is a real coup for insomnia43,” said Craig Fletcher, Managing Director of Multiplay UK, organiser of the event. “It will be the first time gamers will be able to see for themselves why Battlefield 3 has been garnering so much praise. It’s a stunning game, and one which is sure to draw a crowd.”
To grab a ticket, head to Multiplay’s website.
Battlefield 3 launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 28th.
