Eidos life president Ian Livingstone has confirmed that the Kane & Lynch series will return in the future.
In an interview with Eurogamer, the universally respected industry figure backed the divisive duo, despite both Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Dog Days not gaining critical acclaim.
"We haven’t made any announcements about Kane & Lynch going forward, but we all know that Kane and Lynch are two amazing characters who have a lot of brand equity," he explained.
"People like those guys, so they’re not going to disappear."
Whether Livingstone was referring to the much delayed big screen adaptation or a future sequel from IO Interactive remains to be seen.
Nevertheless gamers should expect to hear more about Kane & Lynch soon.
