Ubisoft has confirmed that the much publicised Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta will commence in January.
The announcement was made via the franchise’s dedicated Twitter feed:
“We know you have been asking about the beta. We’re excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012!”
Access to the beta of GR:FS was offered in every copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction and fans will be pleased that a date has finally been announced.
We suspect that all players will gain access to the beta eventually, but Sam Fisher fans will get first dibs.
This particular flavour of Ubisoft’s tactical shooter series isn’t to be confused with Ghost Recon Online, the free-to-play multiplayer shooter, which is set to go live over the coming months.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released next year for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
