Danger Close Medal of Honor

Published on February 21st, 2011

Over the weekend Greg Goodrich, executive producer of the franchise, has confirmed that Danger Close are working on the next chapter in the shooter series.

"We wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for supporting us, our new studio and our storied franchise. We would especially like to thank all of the long time Medal of Honor fans out there who have stuck with us over the years," wrote Mr Goodrich on the franchise’s official blog.

"Since our launch last October, we’ve studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title. We can’t wait to tell you more about it, so check back often to the website and the fan page on Facebook"

Last year’s reboot of the beloved war series, moving it from a World War Two setting to modern day Afghanistan, has sold over five million copies to date on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

No release date was confirmed for the forthcoming shooter, but it is expected EA’s property will again go head to head with Activision’s Call of Duty during the closing months of the year.
