Anyone looking for more eye-candy in Crysis 2 will soon have their wish granted, as the contents of Crytek’s DirectX 11 update have been briefly spotted via the game’s official website.
The announcement, which was swiftly pulled down for unknown reasons, was captured by a user on NeoGAF and confirms a new tessellation support pack, as well as a high-res texture pack for the sci-fi shooter.
Obviously this update is reserved for gaming rigs of the highest calibre, but it’s good to know the long-awaited launch of this update is only a matter of hours, if not days away.
Both of the content packs will be absolutely free and should significantly enhance the visuals of Crysis 2.
We’ll let you know when these packs have finally gone live.
