DICE has announced that a new patch will be released for the PC version of Battlefield 3 this week, with consoles to follow at a later date.
So what exactly will this new update consist of? We’re glad you asked.
“You’ll see improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date – plus we’re removing the so called ‘negative mouse acceleration’ that some of you have experienced,” revealed the official Battlefield blog.
Additionally the post also clarified DICE’s stance on cheating and boosting, explaining that they’ll continue to identify and ban those who use unscrupulous behaviour to gain ranks faster.
The developer also went on to explain that players should click the warning sign next to the profile of anyone they believe to be hacking in Battlelog, or they should email the EA Help Desk, in order to allow reports of foul play to be followed up.
Here’s hoping this patch arrives on all platforms sooner rather than later.
