Warner Bros. Interactive has just sent word that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City is being delayed until November.
No reason was given for the revised schedule, but the publisher was keen to point out that the console versions remain on course for the announced October 21st launch date.
Rocksteady’s previous Batman game, Arkham Asylum, also suffered a minor delay on PC, so this news isn’t a massive surprise.
Last time the developer sweetened the deal by packing in DirectX 11 and 3D support, two features which the console versions unfortunately lacked, so hopefully Arkham City will be given similar treatment.
We hope to have news on a definitive revised release date soon.
