The existence of ARMA III has been confirmed on Bohemia Interactive’s official website.
The third game in the series will feature the same open-ended warfare simulation aspects that the series has become known for as well as a story-driven single-player campaign, newly customisable soldiers and improved vehicle simulation thanks to new PhysX implementation.
More information can be found on the game’s official website including system requirements, shots of the game in-action and a lengthy blurb describing the events leading up to the campaign.
No official word has come directly from Bohemia Interactive concerning the announcement of this sequel, but honestly the fact that this page is hosted by the developer’s website is all the proof anyone needs.
Expect plenty more information about Arma III to be confirmed before the game is released in 2012.
