Refreshed version of the fast-paced shooter includes new gameplay moves and editor options.
Ubisoft and Nadeo have announced that the ongoing ShootMania: Storm Beta will be updated with a load of new content and functionality on Wednesday, 19th December.
The updated client will drastically change ShootMania’s gameplay with character movement bolstered by the introduction of a grappling hook, wall jump and slide ability. The game’s default launcher weapon will also be altered with players soon able to charge up shots, so that they bounce off walls to unlock new trajectory potential. In addition, the map editor is also getting a spruce up with new blocks and the ability to import 3D objects easily.
A new dubstep-laden trailer shows off all these new additions in typical Nadeo style, and you can watch it below:
ShootMania: Storm is set to launch proper on January 23rd, and all those that pre-order the multiplayer shooter will be granted early access to the beta immediately.
