All nations playable in this hard as nails war sim.
Barely a week after we hosted a competition to giveaway Hearts of Iron III Steam codes, Paradox Interactive has announced that a new game in the series is currently in development. We aren’t hinting that those two events are linked, we merely pointing out the coincidence (we’re onto you Paradox…)
The standalone sequel will be called East vs West: A Hearts of Iron Game and focuses on the time period after World War II leading to the end of the Cold War (1946-1991). All nations will be playable and there are a host of new features which make the most of the tense impending nuclear holocaust context including a doomsday clock and taking your communist/capitalist bashing to the UN.
East vs. West: A Hearts of Iron Game will be released during Q2 2013, and to get you even more excited there’s a new trailer boasting lots of archive footage to get you in the right political mood…
