F2P Ghost Recon Online moves into open beta

First weekly mission available now.

Ubisoft’s free-to-play PC shooter Ghost Recon Online has gone into open beta.

The game is available to download and play right now and requires a free uPlay account to gain access.

With the launch of the open beta, Ubisoft has revealed the first of its weekly missions. A rare armour insert is available to those who complete the Operation Eagle Eye mission, which asks players to maintain an accuracy of 15 percent  across five matches.

Ghost Recon Online was announced back at E3 2011.
