Battlefield 2
Modern-day multiplayer shooter from Dice, where you can utilise helicopters, tanks, planes, jeeps and other vehicles on huge maps with as many as 64 other players. Released in 2005, this title is still the go-to multiplayer title with hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. With no single-player game to speak of, players make the action themselves.
This title pioneered voice chat on the PC and was supported by three expansion packs - Special Forces, European Forces and Armoured Fury. All of which featured new maps, weapons, factions and gameplay, including a grappling hook.
