Pre-order now and get beta access.
Sports Interactive and SEGA have announced that Football Manager 2013 will be released on Friday, November 2nd.
Interestingly the pre-order incentive for this year’s version is the promise of Beta access to the updated management sim, two weeks before it’s set to be unleashed on football fans worldwide.
“Our fans are very good at letting us know what they want and the one thing that’s consistently at the top of their wish list is an earlier release date,” says Sports Interactive’s studio director Miles Jacobson.
“While we can’t, strictly speaking, offer them exactly what they want, this Beta version is the next best thing… a fully playable Football Manager they can get their hands on around two weeks before the finished game hits the streets.”
The beta will offer the first chance for fans to get to grips with FM 13′s standout features including a new Classic mode which streamlines management duties and separate scenarios which unlock metagame bonuses for managers.
Thankfully all this progress will be able to be brought over from the Beta to the regular retail build, so early adopters won’t lose any progress. Isn’t that nice?
