Minimum specs and first trailer detailed.
Much-loved RPG Final Fantasy 7 will be re-released on PC with new features, Square-Enix has announced.
We reported last month that the publisher was sitting on a Steam version of the game although Square Enix plans to release this new version exclusively through its own store.
It has also been confirmed that the game will support 36 achievements, a character booster, and cloud saves via the game’s official webpage.
The character booster will act as a HP,MP, and Gil max out that will allow struggling players to breeze through the challenges and enjoy the story.
Cloud saves (insert witty pun here) will allow players to access their save game from any location as long as they have an internet connection.
There is currently no word on how much Square Enix will charge for the new version.
A PC version of Final Fantasy 7 was released in 1998, a year after the PSone version.
The Japanese-RPG is highly regarded as one of the best entries in the long-running Final Fantasy series and has the subject of high-demands from fans to see the game remade to current generation standards.
