But Charles Cecil needs your help to get this party kickstarted!

Grannies, cable cars, murder and suspence; The Serpent's Curse has all the Broken Sword staples covered!
Do you remember way back in July when we reported on news that Dave Gibbons and Charles Cecil were working on a new project? Well, guess what folks – that project was in fact a new entry in the Broken Sword series, subtitled ‘The Serpent’s Curse’.
Excuse us if we get a little bit overexcited, but Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars is still one of our favourite adventure games of all in time and this news literally couldn’t make us any happier.
Fortunately news of the sequel isn’t the entire story as Revolution Software are looking for $400,000 via Kickstarter to get the game made. Now this may seem like a bad thing, as modern publishers seem apprehensive to fund big budget adventure games, but we’re very intrigued to see what a creatively liberated Charles Cecil adventure game would actually be like.
The Kickstarter page has all the funding details, with pledges starting at the paltry amount of $15. Frankly you’d be silly not too, but that is the Broken Sword fanboy within us talking.
The team behind the sequel also put together a nifty little trailer which you can see below. Enjoy the juicy plot details:
