Ubisoft's Murray Pannell has told the UK's trade magazine, MCV, that there's still has plenty of unannounced games for 2010:
"We're still to announce a number of significant titles that we know will arrive in the next 12 months, so rest assured there will be a great mix of established franchises and new IP that will hit across the range of current generation consoles."
What can the French publisher still have to announce that we don't yet know about? We dug out another statement from Ubisoft as to what awaits gamers in 2010:
"The 2010-11 fiscal year will see a greater number of franchise releases than fiscal year 2009-10, including Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, a new game in the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, Driver, Raving Rabbids 4 and a new episode of Assassin's Creed, which will be the first in the series to have an online multiplayer mode."
So that's Ghost Recon, which we'd have put money on announced. Driver, which we'd kind of forgotten about announced. And a Raving Rabbids sequel confirmed.
We've been scratching our heads trying to decide what else Ubisoft has up its sleeves, and here's our Top Ten Ubisoft guesses:
1. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2
The original was a new IP and still sold incredibly well, in large part because this combat flight sim was a whole load of fun. They wouldn't develop a new IP, see it be more successful than they could have hoped, and not be working on a sequel. Well, at least we hope not.

2. Rayman resurrected
We all tend to forget that the Rabbids weren't actually the stars of the show originally, so it must be time for Rayman to make a comeback. Possibly one to make use of the new motion controller technologies.

3. More Raving Rabbids
With motion controllers making it onto PS3 and Xbox 360 this autumn, will the Raving Rabbids 4 be the only Rabbids game? They've publically stated that they are working on up to 10 Natal titles and five more for PS3.

4. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
We haven't heard of this name for a while, but with an new Ghost Recon announced, we'd guess that there's something planned for "fiscal 2010-11", with a pencil date on Spring 2011.

5. Brothers in Arms
There hasn't been a new game in this World War 2 series since 2008, so it would be a good bet that the talented folks at Gearbox Software are working on something. Perhaps a late 2010 release would be a good spot, as long as it stays away from the inevitable Call of Duty.

6. Beyond Good & Evil 2
A fan favourite, a critics' favourite, but a commercial uncertainty. It started development and then got put on hold. Has it been resurrected?
GamerZines Guess Rating: 2/10
7. Might and Magic
This franchise has been gone for a while, and Bioware has shown what can be done in the fantasy RPG realm with Dragon Age. We hope that this might make a return, but it feels like wishful thinking.

8. Far Cry 3
Again, another two years have passed. It feels like a title that might fit into Q1 2011 nicely.

9. Some completely unannounced Tom Clancy title.
Ubisoft bought the rights to use the Clancy name in new games, but so far there has only been H.A.W.X. It's bound to want to capitalise on that investment, so something new in the Tom Clancy universe has to be a given.

We contacted Ubisoft to see what they thought of our detective work, but unsurprisingly they decided not to comment. If any of them turn out to be right, we'll doubtless crow about it in the future, and if not, then we'll quietly forget we ever said anything.
