Adventures of Warcraft Island -

The date is looming ever closer to the release of Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, but have you ever seen Blizzard's attempt at making a traditional point-and-click adventure game? Well thankfully YouTube, as ever, is more than happy to deliver and you can see Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans in its alpha form by following the link on the right. Unfortunately the experiment was never released but the footage shows that its development was quite far along. The voice track in particular seems very, very final!

Valve Hint at TF2 Engineer Update -

Well it has been two whole weeks since we've asked you to check out something Valve related and we've tried to mention them less, but frankly they keep stealing the show! This time the makers of Team Fortress 2 are teasing a new update for the Engineer class, potentially our favourite role created for any shooter, but instead of showing a partial screenshot or describing the new weapon, they've written a whole comic to tease gamers. The artstyle is beautiful and the story's very funny.

Indiana Jones Adventure Recreated in Left 4 Dead 2 -

Map-making is an art form and if you don't believe us you are advised to check out an awesome recreation of Disneyland's 'Indiana Jones Adventure' ride by Divector8. The layout, sound effects and pre-ride brief are all in there, emulating the fantastic experience to the closest degree possible. If you ever had the pleasure of visiting the Californian amusement park, you have to give this video a watch and if possible download the map, as long as the copyright demons don't force its deletion. This is one of the few maps out there, that'll really give you goosebumps. Simply incredible!

As usual, all of the links for today's selections can be found on the right and if you think something is worthy of a mention in this weekly spotlight, please send an email to PCGZine@gamerzines.com
