Black Mesa Source might possibly be the most popular mod on the planet right now. How do we know this? Well, we’ve been trying to download the project’s client for at least an hour now and we’re getting nowhere, as every official link is struggling to keep up with the insane number of people trying to download the free add-on for Half Life 2.

According to the official Facebook page, Black Mesa Source it is indeed out now, and there are certain partners where you can download it, Shacknews for one (linked here) – just be prepared to wait a couple of hours for the interwebs to settle down.
