Down for a simultaneous worldwide release in 2008, MGS4 is going to be giving Killzone 2 a run for its money as the biggest PS3 game of the year. Set in a war-torn country in the near future, MGS4 puts you into the wrinkled boots of a much older and wiser Solid Snake, as he embarks on his final mission, and the last game in the Metal Gear Solid series.

Lots more hour-long cut-scenes then?
Quite possibly. Metal Gear Solid games have always been famed for their intriguing � but somewhat confusing � storylines, and MGS4 is certainly looking to be no different. Hideo Kojima himself has even promised that MGS4 is set to wrap up all of the loose ends that the previous games have left, which is no mean feat considering that the series' plot line currently has more holes than a particularly moth-ridden piece of Swiss cheese.
