Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga preview PlayStation 3
PlayStation 3 gamers have missed out so far on the phenomenon that is Lego Star Wars - the genius combination of two of the biggest icons of the last three decades. But this gap will be filled this autumn, with the release of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It's a combination of the two games, Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars II, and while the basic gameplay looks likely to stay the same, there are promises of new elements, plus all the advantages of being able to mix characters from across all six Star Wars episodes. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga preview for PlayStation 3
What is it?
Well, we can certainly tell you what it isn’t - it isn’t a brand new Lego
Star Wars game (boo!). Lego Star Wars and its sequel were great games,
but sadly, us PS3 owners missed out on the party. Now we’re getting to
join in with the fun, as Lucasarts have announced Lego Star Wars: The
Complete Saga, a two-in-one package of the first two games, with lots
of added extras.
So, what’s new?
Plenty. To start off with, there’s a brand new two-player online co-op
mode, which will let you and a friend battle the evil (and somewhat
plasticy) Empire together, no matter where you are in the world. Of
course, as the game is effectively a combination of the first two titles,
you can also play as any of the
characters, in any of the levels. Darth
Vader v Darth Maul? Yes please.
