GTA IV preview PlayStation 3

GTA IV preview for PlayStation 3

Like most of the gaming world, we are virtually foaming at the mouth to get our hands on GTA IV. It needs no introduction as the latest in the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto series, and its release this autumn is set to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, event of the PS3 year. The game has been kept tantalisingly under wraps in development, but we recently had a tidbit thrown our way in the form of the full trailer. We've watched it, analysed it and watched it again, and in this issue you can read our conclusions about what to expect from GTA IV. You can even watch it yourself with our multimedia function, and then take our interactive quiz on all things GTA. Check out our GTA IV preview for PlayStation 3 now to find out more. GTA IV preview for PlayStation 3
There are few games that can get your pulse racing quite like GTA IV. Since the change to 3D for GTA 3, the series has really captured the gaming community’s communal heart, and after seeing the latest trailer for the new game, we can safely say that’s unlikely to change any time soon.
Released just a couple of weeks ago, the trailer, called “Looking For That Special Someone” reveals a whole host of new gameplay features, and confirms the inclusion of a lot of things fans have been speculating about on the internet. We’ve watched the trailer hundreds of times; we’ve paused it, we’ve zoomed in, and we’ve over analysed screenshots into the early hours of the morning, and now, we’re ready to tell you what we’ve discovered.
The trailer begins with an emphatic shot of Brooklyn at dawn, with a yellow smog covering part of the city (or, at least, we hope it’s smog – fogging on GTA IV is not something we hope to see). From there, the shot changes to show us inside a car, and it’s here you start to realise the level of detail that Rockstar have put into the game, as the vehicle even has a side mirror, which is reflecting the environment as it zips past.
