So what’s different on PS3?
The constant drip feed of GTA IV related information continued this
month, with the rumour spreading around the internet that car
boots are now useable in-game, for stashing bodies, guns, or possibly
even yourself. This revelation came from an eyewitness account of a
demonstration to a journalist at OXM US, who saw a box pop-up saying
“Press LB to open trunk.”
Holding us down
Another interesting titbit to be unveiled this month was Rockstar’s
comment that the 360’s lack of storage is proving to be a limiting factor
in the game’s development. Apparently Microsoft’s refusal to ensure
that each 360 has a hard drive built in (unlike the PS3), and their reliance
on using DVD, rather than a next-gen storage medium are giving the
Rockstar guys some problems – it’s going to be interesting to see if
anything’s cut out of the 360 version to fit it all in.
