It's set to be one of the biggest movies of the summer, but it doesn't stop there: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is coming to the PS3 - the first POTC game to hit the next-gen consoles. We've spoken exclusively to Nick Bridger, the PS3 game's Senior Producer and asked him what makes this game stand apart, how it feels to work on such a successful franchise, and what his favourite bits of the game are. As the first POTC game to hit the new generation of consoles, what does At World’s End on PS3 have to offer over the previous games?
We wanted to really bring the theatrics of swordplay to the game and offer the player something very different to what they’re used to with POTC games. We didn’t want the game to be simply about hacking and slashing your way through, but to immerse the player in the dark, swashbuckling world of Pirates of the Caribbean and bring that sense of theatre to the player - harking back to movies whether the flamboyancy of Errol Flynn, or the sheer excitement of the Three Musketeers.
