Haze review for the PS3
It's been a quiet year for PS3
exclusives so far. With the only
major title to speak of being
Gran Turismo Prologue – and the
disappointing Unreal Tournament
3. With Resistance 2, MGS4, and
Little Big Planet all on the horizon,
Haze was set to kick things off with
a bang, but now it's finally here, is
the party started with more of a
whimper? Now that's a question
with no easy answer.
The story in Haze revolves around
Shane Carpenter, an ordinary guy involved in an over-the-top war.
Signing up to ‘fight the good fight',
you (initially) enlist with Mantel, a
private military corporation with
a super-drug called Nectar. By
injecting Nectar, you'll gain superhuman
abilities, like an advanced
zoom, improved speed and agility,
and a rather cool vision mode that
makes your enemies glow yellow.
