Enemy Territory Quake Wars review for the PS3
While the Xbox 360 is
oversubscribed for firstperson
shooters, the
PS3 has less stellar competition,
particularly as one of its best titles –
Valve's otherwise superb The Orange
Box – was soured by a less-thanbrilliant
conversion. Still, it boasts
two excellent multiplayer-focused
shooters in Unreal Tournament III
and the superb Warhawk, which
unfortunately is Enemy Territory's
biggest problem. While a singleplayer
first-person shooter would
have had less to be compared
against, it's bumping up against
probably two of the top 10 games
on the system. As such, despite its undoubted qualities, it does come
up a little short, unfortunately.
