Haze has been coming to the PS3 for so long now, it's hard to believe that it is eventually about to arrive. But it is coming and it has been confirmed as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. Which is all rather good news for PlayStation 3 gamers as Haze is shaping up very well. With the Nectar enhanced gameplay pumping up your skills or overdosing and shooting your comrades, this looks like a game with an interesting play mechanic to master. Haze preview for the PS3

A little bit of what you fancy doesn't do any harm at all. However, too much of a good thing can be a problem, potentially turn you into a feral, hallucinating, indiscriminate killer. That good thing is Nectar, the mysterious ‘nutritional supplement' that fuels the private military contractors of Mantel Global Industries.

It's South America in the year 2048, and a guerrilla faction calling themselves The Promise Hand are apparently up to no good, led by the charmingly named Gabriel ‘Skin Coat' Merino, so-called due to his alleged penchant for flaying his enemies and turning them into menswear. As for your good self, you are Mantel trooper Sergeant Shane Carpenter, accompanied by three squadmates (AI, online, LAN or splitscreen) dispatching rebels with a pocket full of bollocks and a gullet full of Nectar.
