Dead Space preview for PS3

A new, sci-fi, survival horror game from EA, Dead Space is a daring new IP from the games industry giants. Played from a first person perspective, this psychological horror could be described as BioShock in space, just a lot, lot scarier.

What's the story?
The game's set in the not so distant future, and puts you into the moon boots of Isaac Clarke, an engineer up in space, who's sent out to repair a mining ship after their communications array mysteriously falls silence. However, what seems like a routine repair mission soon goes wrong, as you find the crew of the ship savaged and bloodied at their posts. With a mysterious alien threat wandering around the ship, and a distinct lack of any real weaponry (remember - this is on a mining ship, not a military vessel), it's up to you to fight simply to stay alive, as you slowly unravel the mystery behind what happened.
