Need for Speed: The Run – Bonus Wheel in Motion
We’re only just starting to delve into Need for Speed: The Run’s litany of different multiplayer playlists, yet even so we’ve already found a very nifty feature which we’ve falling in love with; the Bonus Wheel.
Every time you join a playlist event you’ll be chucked into a multi-race championship and at the start of each series of races a giant ‘wheel of fortune’ style contraption is spun to determine what rewards the next championship will bring. These range from gifting rare vehicles to the top three drivers, new profile pictures for everyone who sticks with the group or XP bonuses for the overall victor.
At the moment we’ve only spent around five hours with The Run’s multiplayer, so we haven’t seen all the rewards The Bonus Wheel offers yet. However we have noticed that racers seem to stick in the game longer, as they have a real incentive to finish the championship.
