Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit demo out now!
It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! A demo of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is available to download now from Xbox Live Marketplace, with a PlayStation Network version due to follow tomorrow.
The 1.49GB demo lets you take a look at Hot Pursuit’s Autolog system, the built-in social networking tool that lets you compare times with friends and post comments on the Need For Speed wall. Don’t go posting things you shouldn’t now…
You’ll also be able to try your hand at two events: the Roadsters Reborn event as a racer, and a game of Hot Pursuit as a cop.
Downloading the demo will also reward you with 500 Cop bounty and 500 Racer bounty which you can put towards advancing your career when the full game releases on November 19th.
But be quick, according to EA the demo will only be available for the next two weeks.
Put it in your Xbox 360 download queue by clicking here.
To celebrate the release of the demo we’re going to be running a competition where you’ll be able to win some exclusive prizes. Check back on the blog later today to find out more…

One small point is that the demo is *only* available if you have an XBox Gold account.
Why restrict access to a demo??! … stupid people, it’s meant to get us to buy it and play on your console.
Oh well it’ll be the PS3 version for me tomorrow, then play multiplayer for without paying a subscription when the full version arrives.
