A Typical Need for Speed: The Run Multiplayer Race
To give you a taste of what it’s like to play Need for Speed: The Run online we thought we’d show you a recent race we captured from the PC build.
Unfortunately despite all of our efforts we couldn’t find a race where proceedings weren’t dominated by a couple of gamers chatting back or forth using terribly set up microphones, but if you don’t mind some French smack-talk you’ll find this video is very representative of the overall experience.
Unlike the console versions of Need for Speed: The Run, the PC version lacks the ability to mute players when they’re talking too much, but we have our fingers crossed this will be fixed in the next patch.
Keep an eye out for the objectives shown during the pre-race menu, the XP pop-ups during the race and what happens to be a very close finish…
Enjoy the video!
Update: After two months since we reported on this issue, EA Black Box has finally seen fit to patch in the ability to mute players in Need for Speed: The Run.
