Dungeons and Dragons Online launched in 2006 to mixed success, but it still has a devoted core of players who form a strong DDO community. With fourteen updates under its belt, DDO has certainly moved with the times, but does it stand up to the newer, bigger MMOs on the scene these days? Find out with us as we replay Dungeons and Dragons Online. ![]() Dungeons and Dragons Online replay While this seems like a sensible decision to most MMO gamers, many diehard Dungeons & Dragons fans were not so open to change. Nevertheless, if you can accept Turbine's reworking of the ruleset, then there's great team adventuring to be had in the relatively new (to the D&D universe) land of Eberron. DDO still enjoys a relatively small, but very strong community and the game has been well nurtured with an impressive series of updates since 2006, fourteen in all. The latest is Module 6 (see Update reviews in this issue), which continues to tweak the balance of the game, a delicate process that has been ongoing since launch.
