Dragonica preview

Watch the trailer for upcoming Dragonica, and anyone who's familiar with axe wielding games from the arcades in the 1980s will be at home. It's a fun platform-like MMO with excessive combos and the wackiest graphics you've seen. It's easy to pick up and play, and it throws you straight into the action, so Dragonica is hoping to attract gamers from a broad spectrum of MMO players. We've been hands-on with Dragonica, so check out our preview in this issue of MMOZine.

Dragonica preview It's not often you see a pair of clockwork boots stomping along to the Tetris theme, and to be frank with you, we're not sure we can explain why such a sight exists in Dragonica. We've also seen during our first contact with the game characters farting noxious green gas in the direction of their enemies and treasure chests on legs that come at you with a flurry of blades like some demented Swiss Army Knife. The Michael Jackson-style moonwalking is also somewhat baffling. Made in Korea, the chirpy and irreverent Dragonica is being brought to Europe by free-2-play MMO specialists Gala Networks, who say that Dragonica is primarily targeted at the teen market, although they are quick to add: "Gameplay will be familiar to anyone who played arcade games in the late 1980s, or consoles in the early 1990s."
