Darkfall review

Darkfall Online is an unapolagetically hardcore MMO. While there are PvE elements, this is a PvP experience and so you are going to have to be ready for some pain. If you're happy with the gameplay, there are still some other considerations for Darkfall Online - take a read of our full review of Darkfall Online for more details.
Click here to read our Darkfall review now! Darkfall review Aventurine's Darkfall Online brings the adrenaline rush back to MMORPGs. Finally, you will know that you won – not because you had better items, but just because you were better. Be prepared though, if modern MMOs are like a riding a shiny theme park thrill-ride, then Darkfall is like snowboarding down a mountain ahead of an avalanche. It's brutal, gritty, unforgiving and it's a rough ride, but if you survive, it can be a rush! The emphasis on player skill starts in the lack of classes and levels. Playing a pre-designed class in an MMOG can feel like wearing someone else's shoes – you get used to them, but they never quite fit. You won't have that problem in Darkfall. You choose from a list of skills that suit your play style and to develop the skill you just use it – your skills go up as you play. The early result of this was that all players were hybrids of a sort, with the same basic skills. As players become more experienced and characters become more developed, unique skill sets are appearing and players are falling into roles. Click here to continue reading our Darkfall review now!
