Jumpgate Evolution preview

Jumpgate Evolution is the upcoming space MMO that puts action to the fore in an attempt to lure us all into space, but not with the promise of freighters and policits as in EVE Online, but with lasers and dog fights. We've been playing the beta both in PvE and PvP and while some aspects of the game grabbed us, others were still in need of tweaking. Champions Online preview

Champions Online brings superheroes back to the PC, with the new MMO that allows you to thoroughly customise your hero, and your nemesis. Champions Online has a suitably graphic art style, and we've been playing the beta and are pretty pleased. Black Prophecy preview

Black Prophecy is the next space MMO we're looking forward to, though it'll be some time after Jumpgate Evolution. Black Prophecy also promises to be different from EVE Online and focus on space combat and spaceship upgrades for gameplay. Darkfall review

Darkfall Online is an unapolagetically hardcore MMO. While there are PvE elements, this is a PvP experience and so you are going to have to be ready for some pain. Free Realms review

Free Realms is targetting the younger gaming market and offers very little in terms of chracter creation, allowing you to shape your character by what you choose to do. Unusually for an MMO, but not surprising given the target market, this can be completely combat free. Dragonica preview

Dragonica is a new MMO that doesn't take itself too seriously, and frequently reminds you no to either. It's a cartoony 2D (sort of) MMO with the emphasis on short bursts of play, rather than long sessions, and Dragonica has much to recommend it.
