Jagex’s free-to-play browser game preparing itself for mass testing.
The next free-to-play browser game from Jagex, the studio behind RuneScape, is nearing the closed beta stage of development.
Transformers Universe is currently accepting applications from any and all comers who are interested in sampling the third-person action experience, via the game’s official website. Judging from the gameplay footage below, it seems rather different from Jagex’s previous work and substantially more action packed. Robot lust at the ready!
There are a few hoops you have to jump through in order to register, such as picking an allegiance to either the Autobots or the Decepticons and waiting patiently for a few flash animations to conclude, but overall the process is rather painless.
Transformers Universe is expected to launch on PC early 2013.
