There are plenty of fantasy based MMOs out there, what does one more add to the market?

Runes of Magic is a free MMO from the developer Runewalker Entertainment. With over one million users Runes of Magic has grown admirably since its March release date. New public quests have recently been added, including a new high level region known as Ravenfell. The small but committed player base is always looking to give newbies a helping hand, and represents one of the more forgiving gaming worlds. There is no monthly subscription fee and all development funds are recouped via purchases of new items using actual money.
Man like woman.You can choose one of six classes Warrior, Scout, Rogue, Mage, Priest and Knight. Each behaves as one would expect, taking inspiration from other MMOs. For example the Warrior is the strongest class, Scout the most nimble, Priest the healer and Mage the dark magic user etc. There are over 1600 quests and they are surprisingly varied for a free to play title.

It would be a wise choice to get rid of it all in the in-game auction house or swap it for diamonds. You can invest in diamonds to collect more experience for kills or by new skills or talent charms and even a mount.
Pink is the new blue.There is also a big PvE component in Runes of Magic but if you would prefer that other players didn't steal your well earned loot, you might not want to venture into that area. Overall this MMO has an unpolished feel and can be incredibly frustrating when you run into one of Runes' numerous bugs or problems. Graphically it never excels and the world often looks generic and dull.
Face for RadioWith a setting that has been seen dozens of times before, Runes won't steal the originality award but it does offer rewarding gameplay which some players may fall in love with. For everyone else there are much better titles in the market, but most likely they aren't available for free.
