Time to bring our Smuggler out of retirement.
BioWare has announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic’s long-awaited transition from subscription-only to free-to-play will commence on November 15th.
As is tradition with these sorts of transformations there will be an in-game shop added, utilising a new currency dubbed ‘Cartel Coins’, and there will be a myriad of restrictions placed on players who aren’t willing to part with any cash, including restricted chat, PvP and space battle access.
